About This Build

Not every build needs boost. The F20C/F22C are screaming NA engines that reward revs. My goal was a reliable, high-revving track car that I can drive to events. Started with basic bolt-ons - Gruppe M intake, ASM 4-2-1 header, J's Racing 70RS exhaust. Gained about 20whp just from breathing mods. The header made the biggest difference. Then went deeper. AP2 throttle body on my AP1, RBC intake manifold, Hondata Kpro for full tuning. Had the head ported and polished by Drag Cartel, added their stage 2 cams. Now makes 270whp at 8800rpm - absolutely screams past 8k. Suspension is Ohlins DFV with Swift springs. Grip is unreal. The S2000 chassis is so good that adding grip reveals more potential. Running RE-71RS for time attack, PS4S for the street. Hardtop was a must for rigidity. Added the ASM rear diffuser and J's Racing front lip for some aero. The car is so balanced and predictable at the limit. This is what NA tuning is about - no lag, instant response, perfect throttle control.
