2008 BMW 335i - N54 Single Turbo 600WHP Sleeper

About This Build

The N54 is one of the best tuner engines ever made. Started with FBO twin turbos making 450whp, but wanted more. Went single turbo with a Precision 6266 and never looked back. This car embarrasses supercars from a roll. 600whp on E85 with a BMS Stage 2 HPFP and PI upgraded injectors. The N54 can handle this power on stock internals if you keep the boost sane and tune conservatively. Supporting mods were crucial - DCI, charge pipe, upgraded intercooler, oil catch can. The stock twins have wastegate rattle issues anyway so single turbo solves that. Custom 3" downpipe into a Magnaflow catback. Transmission holds the power with a JB4 transmission tune and fresh fluid. Also upgraded to an OEM clutch-type LSD from a 335is - absolutely mandatory for putting this power down. Suspension is Bilstein B16 PSS10 - adjustable damping is perfect for switching between street and track. Running 18" Apex ARC-8 with 255/275 square setup.
