2023 Nissan Z RZ34 - Twin Turbo Street Monster
2023 Nissan Z (Performance)
About This Build
The RZ34 Nissan Z brought the VR30DDTT twin-turbo 3.0L V6 to an affordable sports car platform, and the aftermarket responded immediately. This build focuses on bolt-on power with upgraded turbos, full exhaust, intercooler, and an E85 flex fuel setup to push the Z past 500WHP while maintaining daily drivability. Starting with AMS Performance upgraded turbos — AMS is one of the most respected names in twin-turbo V6 tuning, having built their reputation on the GT-R platform and now supporting the VR30DDTT in the Z. The full bolt-on package includes Z1 Motorsports downpipes (Z1 has been the go-to Nissan Z parts supplier for over 20 years), a VRSF front-mount intercooler for consistent power in hot weather, and an EcuTek tune via Z1 Motorsports to tie it all together on E85 flex fuel. ## Mod List **Turbos & Fueling:** - AMS Performance Alpha 6 Upgraded Turbos for VR30DDTT — $3,200 (https://www.amsperformance.com) - Z1 Motorsports VR30 Fuel Upgrade Kit (injectors + fuel pump) — $1,200 (https://www.z1motorsports.com) - Radium Engineering Flex Fuel Kit — $350 (https://www.radiumauto.com) **Exhaust:** - Z1 Motorsports Catless Downpipes — $800 (https://www.z1motorsports.com) - ARK Performance GRiP Catback Exhaust — $1,400 (https://www.arkperformance.com) **Cooling & Intake:** - VRSF Front Mount Intercooler — $900 (https://www.vfracing.com) - AEM Cold Air Intake — $400 (https://www.aemintakes.com) **Tuning:** - EcuTek ECU Connect + License — $700 (https://www.ecutek.com) - Z1 Motorsports E85 Flex Fuel Tune — $800 (https://www.z1motorsports.com) **Drivetrain:** - Z1 Motorsports Lightweight Flywheel — $550 (https://www.z1motorsports.com) - South Bend Clutch Stage 3 — $1,100 (https://www.southbendclutch.com) **Labor & Installation:** ~$2,500 ## Performance Results - 507 WHP / 475 WTQ on E85 - 0-60: 3.4 seconds (from 4.5 stock) - Quarter mile: 11.2 @ 125 mph ## Build Summary Total parts cost: $11,400.
